How to request deletion or correction
Email hello@rentverified.co with the subject line:
Data deletion request
Please include enough information for us to locate the relevant records, such as:
- Your name
- The email address or phone number you used with RentVerified
- A listing or enquiry reference, if you know it
- Your Agent Portal account email, if the request relates to a contributor account
Do not send passwords, access tokens, or identity documents by email unless we specifically ask for them.
What a request may cover
Where applicable, a legitimate request may relate to:
- Rental listing enquiries
- Rental requirement submissions
- Listing submissions
- Contributor or Agent Portal account information
- Related operational communication records
Review and retention
RentVerified will review legitimate requests and take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise applicable information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. We do not promise immediate deletion in every case.
We may need to retain limited records where reasonably necessary for:
- Security and fraud prevention
- Legal obligations
- Dispute resolution
- Demonstrating that a deletion request was completed
